This expertise helps prevent injuries from escalating to OSHA recordable incidents, safeguarding both the well-being of workers and the interests of employers. With our focused attention on injury management and prevention, we strive to support a safer and healthier work environment.

Injury Evaluation Process:
1. Notification of Injury:
The employee promptly notifies the employer of a workplace injury, providing details of the incident and any immediate concerns regarding their condition.
2. Appointment Scheduling:
The employer contacts Mid Iowa Occupational Testing to schedule an appointment for the employee, ensuring a same-day or next-day evaluation to address the injury quickly.
4. Treatment Recommendations:
Following the assessment, the medical staff provides detailed treatment recommendations to the employer. The employer then communicates this care plan to the employee, ensuring they understand the necessary steps for recovery.
5. Completion of Treatment:
The employee follows through with the recommended treatment plan, engaging in any therapies, exercises, or follow-up appointments as instructed. This process emphasizes prompt attention and comprehensive care to facilitate recovery and prevent long-term issues.
3. Evaluation:
The employee attends the scheduled appointment at Mid Iowa Occupational Testing, where they undergo a comprehensive orthopedic assessment conducted by experienced medical staff. This evaluation includes physical examinations and diagnostic measures to determine the nature and extent of the injury.

Communication procedures
Since our inception, our team has consistently identified a common challenge our customers face in the treatment of workplace injuries with existing providers: Communication. Recognizing its vital role, we are dedicated to making clear communication a driving force behind all our programs. We believe that effective communication leads to a better understanding among all parties involved—employees, employers, and our medical staff. By fostering open dialogue and ensuring that information is accurately conveyed, we aim to enhance the treatment process and improve recovery outcomes for injured workers. Clear communication not only facilitates better care but also builds trust and cohesion in the workplace.
